What we collect
When you fill in a form on this site (contact, brief, newsletter), we collect the fields you provide — name, email, company, project details. When you visit any page, our hosting (Cloudflare) logs your IP address for security and rate-limiting purposes. With your consent, we run privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible / Microsoft Clarity) that record anonymized session data.
Why we collect it
Form data: to respond to your inquiry and quote your project. We do not use it for marketing without your explicit opt-in. Server logs: to detect abuse and keep the site online. Analytics: to understand which content is useful and what we should write more of.
How long we keep it
Form submissions: 24 months from the last interaction, then automatically deleted unless they're tied to an active engagement. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe (one click in every email). Server logs: 30 days, then automatically rotated.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — at any time, by emailing mail@alexeykachan.com. We respond within 30 days. If you're an EU/UK resident, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the agency grows or as the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. We will not retroactively reduce your protections without notifying affected contacts.
